My previous roles include Head of Drama Development at LA Productions with credits including Jimmy McGovern’s Anthony on BBC1 and Clink for Channel 5 and as Head of Scripted at Can Can I developed new dramas and comedy dramas for Ch4, Netflix and BBC and a comedy for CBBC. I also ran the BBC Writersroom North for two years gaining commissions for fresh and diverse new writing talent in TV Drama, Children’s TV and Radio Drama.

I have a particular sweet spot for stories that expand LGBT+ representation on and off screen as well as finding the extraordinary in the ordinary of the British experience for a global audience. I continue to work with DANC promoting and supporting stories from disabled writers.
