MATT CROOK

managing director

My career started as a BBC researcher on Breakfast News and Newsnight before a stint in the CBBC Broomcupboard. I produced at Disney and The Big Breakfast before going onto look after Ricky Gervais on The 11 O’Clock Show and then Big Brother 1. I worked with Objective Productions from the very early days up to their sale and then built Crook Productions and sold it to ITV in 2021.

Siân Johns

Director of Production

I have had a diverse career in production having worked in many genres from single camera docs, rig shows to TV commercials and scripted. My career in TV production began at the BBC in London over 25 years ago where I trained as a production assistant. Since then, I have freelanced in production management for lots of different London based companies and after relocating to Brighton, I spent 10 years working for Ricochet, a Warner Bros company, as a Production Exec. Before joining Studio Crook, I supported a new Brighton based independent, part of the ITV group, as a Head of Production.
